Prine in action at DJ Farms in Maurice La.
These cattle are grazing Prine planted in 2004. The pictures were made 12/28/2004. The 60 cows and prize Tarentaise bull "Jackhammer" graze this 3 acre field in rotation with 6 other Prine fields. The cattle graze 3.5 days per field. This is a great looking paddock considering the over 20 head/acre grazing pressure it gets every 20 days! finished
among the statistical leaders in dry matter yields. In disease trials in
Florida Prine was most resistant to Grey Leaf Spot and Rust among all grasses
tested.
